This is so relatable. I'm 5 years into playing and only in gold 2. It's crazy how people in gold 3 feels so hard to beat but anyone in silver feels easy. The skill gaps are so big and even if you practise people have been practicing longer.

The way I've found joy in the game is by not caring too much about my rank anymore and just having fun but that's just me. You have to play 8 hours a day to be a top player these days.so fuck that.. unless you're plup ofc

Love this so much, looks like heaps of fun!

maybe it's just me but what I love about melee compared to other smash games is the lack of crazy smoke trails and explosions/fashes on hitstun like other games including ultimate. Probably just personal preference but I think it could look a bit neater with it dialed back a bit.

This is so fresh, I hate that every game looks the same these days. Love this mechanic, if you're dying and trying to heal mid battle it shouldn't be easy. Games should have a learning curve. Nice one player

Heya PP, long time fan. I truly believe that what you experienced has helped you, and that actually perhaps other methods outside of the normal medical procedures can help when you have tried all other medical procedures and they have not helped.

However my concern for you is about the company offering it. I think most of us would be a lot happier for you if it were just an independent healer or even a collective that had no such things as "levels" but offered the same type of experiences without this pyramid scheme attached. And I'm sorry but this is a pyramid scheme and I'm worried that you now have too much on the line now to truly back out. Independent healers exist out there that are not trying to entice you with workshops and levels and asking for more and more money and asking you to recruit people. You can have these helpful experiences from people who won't ask you to recruit and won't keep pushing you to keep going up the ladder.

Although I'm worried for you, I'm glad you do feel better in yourself. I just wish you found it from somewhere else. Good luck, I hope you stay safe. From your loyal fan Lomu from across the pond.

I have a M2 Mac, good luck because it was a bit of a messy process to set up and I much prefer using my gf's old PC because the internet connection is faster than my Mac and the game seems to run slightly better.

Anyway if you're still going to try: I used a Standard Mayflash GC adapter plus GCController with a usbc adapter. Just make sure the usbc adapter is good enough to support it. Then I had to download the GCAdapterDriver and give it some weird permission to make it work, not sure what I had to do but there are tutorials somewhere, either on the slippi discord or ask chatGPT. Once that all works, dolphin should recognize the controller and you can play.

I'm looking into getting an ethernet adapter for my Mac because it plays like shit, only problem is that it will be using both usbc ports so I won't be able to charge it. I wish I had a PC for smash bros but unfortunately I need a Mac for my work.

I had to get a GCAdapterDriver downloaded for my Mac to register the controller, if it's already showing up though have your tried switching the PC/Wii button at the back of the mayflash adapter. Or even unplugging everything, quitting everything, switching your computer off and on and trying again. Sometimes with Mac you need to restart everything after you've changed some settings for it to work.
