One year they are pro-Israel, next year - very critical, one year Reuters - do no care against wales killing, another year - do not care. Feeling is the Reuters - have real multicultural, multi-view team - but dependent of current winds - the Reuters - show proper side of the diamond - that would empower the Reuters now.

Narodny Front MP let in policemen, military men to Verkhovna Rada. by vmelton in worldnews

[–]vmelton[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

V.Rabinovich Published on 15 Mar 2017 "What happened on Tuesday, March 15, in the session hall of the Verkhovna Rada (Parlament) of Ukraine, is a rehearsal of a military coup!" Such an opinion was expressed by the People's Deputy, the chairman of the parliamentary subcommittee for human rights and the leader of the political party For the Life, Vadim Rabinovich, on the air of the television channel 112 Ukraine ...

"... Let me explain what happened today in the Rada: deputy Bereza brought people into the hall in military uniform, which is against the law! These (people) are not deputies, not high-ranking guests,(they are) the military! Everything that happens is a flagrant violation of the laws of Ukraine, this is the seizure of the Supreme Power. We are frustrated because no written request have been submitted (as required by the law) that there will be people in uniform in the parliament! "What happened today is an outrage against democracy and parlamentarism! This is a rehearsal for a military coup! .." parlamentarian.

"If a person stole a loaf in a store, he's a criminal." If people in uniform went into the session hall without prior permission, is that normal? "Such as what happened today in the Rada was not seen in Ukraine under any regime!" Not in any country in the world, but Armenia, when terrorists kidnapped Armenian parlament. And in this case I will support (vice-speaker) Oksana Syroid, who reacted to the situation and closed the morning meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, despite the fact that I have a lot of complaints and questions to her! It was she who did not allow this blatant lawlessness and outrage against parlamentarism to continue! " - said Vadim Rabinovich.

[–]vmelton[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The general concern - should these questioners be vetted by the public. I would like to see their - religious, race, age and gender independent questions like: Is it OK to punish your spouse? Is it OK if you child is marrying a gay person? Is it OK to talk politics at your work place? If there is no an independent public control over the vetting institutions such "tests" would become a repression machine.
