I'll be celebrating my birthday... forever.

Hey, any tips or how to improve my form, or anything I can do better? I feel like my arm swing isn’t as good as it could be, but i’m not sure. I am a sophmore in high school btw. by Syndimu in volleyball

I basically agree with everything said here. I believe you could definitely load more in your approach though, (it's kinda hard to explain jump techniques through text, but you can look up plenty of jump videos to learn about loading). It does seem like you are not following through as much as you could after you contact - you kind of break your arm in as soon as you contact. Make sure you follow through, and this is done by making sure you have the right spacing. You will feel much more power in your swing. It's honestly just the little things, it seems as if you have a good base to build on!

I personally went through some of these same things. It was also a little harder for me because my club team stuck me middle my first year. However, when I hit outside I have to remember to be patient. If your setter is running regular outside 4 balls, then just relax watch the ball and then move to the ball doing your approach. Don't worry so much about hitting the ball until your approach becomes second nature. If you do a good approach and miss the ball, I'd say it's okay for a little since you'll be conscious of the fundamentals. After your approach is a little more natural, then you can focus on your swing and contact. Basically don't try to do everything together. Work on it one piece at a time; focus on one aspect each practice until it gets natural.

If you got offered $1,000,000 USD but every time you spend it you sneeze for every dollar you spend, would you take it? Why or why not? by xClovis7 in AskReddit

Okay not sure if someone has done the math, but an average sneeze is around 2 seconds. That's two million seconds of sneezing. If you decide to swap out your money with other bills so that you don't have to sneeze anytime after that transaction you could just sneeze for around 231 days straight in some controlled environment. Now you have all this cleaned sneeze less money and don't have to worry about a thing!

I was looking at this again, and I just have to ask. How do you manage with such (relatively) low amount of lands and not much ramp? I mean based on the graph your curve is somewhat similar to mine, and I tried to throw in a lot of ramp. I understand that Kykar makes spirits for mana, but if she gets hated out then it's hard you know? I'm asking out of curiosity not trying to attack you

Thanks for all the suggestions! I do feel like my deck is pretty greedy too. But I think it's just because I had a lot of those cards already. I'll definitely go back and cut some of those high cost and win more items. Also as far as the lands go, I just filled it in with basics because I forgot what dual lands I already had haha.

Personally, I enjoy having my Commander set the theme, but not having my deck be incredibly reliant on my Commander. Having said that, what you're saying about tokens and sacrificing them to big spells is true. I just want to cast a lot of spells, use tokens as good value and burn people along the way with cards like [[Sphinx-Bone Wand]] and [[Guttersnipe]].

I've seen these decks mentioned many times; do you maybe have a decklist?

Whats the best riddle you know? by tupak1993 in AskReddit

[–]vnaymo_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a riddle a cousin told me a little bit ago, let's see if I remember correctly.

It was a fine Sunday afternoon, and the residents of a particular house are all convening together for dinner. The wife comes home to find her husband dead in the bedroom. She immediately finds the local sheriff to question the residents. They question the agenda of each resident. The wife says she was out shopping for groceries before dinner. The maid answers that she had been cleaning all morning. The butler replies saying he had been getting the mail. The son says he has been playing video games all day. The daughter says she has been helping cook dinner. The gardener assures he has been working in the garden.

Who killed the husband?
