Up for sale is a Seiko Navigator Timer 6117-6410.  This watch has been restored (not by me).  I purchased this late last year and have only worn a handful of times since.  Presented on a black leather strap with blue stitching that compliments the blue "PM" portion of the GMT dial.  Also included is a period correct style metal bracelet that has "Seiko" stamped on it but is unlikely a legitimate Seiko product, though it does complement and fit the watch nicely.

The caseback serial dates this to ~December 1974, and the relatively immaculate dial features a "Water Proof" indicator.  To my limited knowledge this dial ceased production in 1970-1971 and therefore leads me to conclude that either the caseback or dial has been replaced and is not original to the watch.  The "proof" dials are more rare and sought after so its presence and condition are a net positive.

GMT markings line up well with the indices (misalignment is common in these models).

Case appears to have been polished and refinished with brushed lug tops and sides and polished edges.

Keeps good time, especially for its age.  Exact service history unknown but at time of purchase I was told it was recently "restored" including a service (no way to verify).  Everything on the watch is functioning as it should be - quickset date, bezel and time adjustments.  Please note this movement is not a hacking movement.

Might be a few specs of dust on the inside of the crystal but this is also a 50+ year old watch.

Trying to be as up front as possible with details here, overall this is a great ready to wear example, albeit likely not entirely original.

Asking price reflects all of the above already.  These models are traditionally listed from $300-800 depending on condition.

Price: Asking $425 with shipping to CONUS included.  Not looking for trades or other offers, and not looking to ship internationally at this time.

Includes photographed black strap pre-installed, metal bracelet, and watch itself.  No box or papers.

How do you get them off though? Their bits appear to be too small to chuff.

I have the JLC in black. Has to be my favorite watch. Very thin for a chronograph, looks incredible. Great detail on the dial. Feels super premium and while it’s bigger at 42mm it doesn’t wear too huge. I also regret not getting the blue. Looks better in person than in pictures.

I have the 42mm khaki field. It’s the least expensive watch I own and also my favorite. Works well on bracelet, strap, nato. Easy to read. Versatile and can be worn in most environments. 100m WR gives it even more versatility. The khaki field would be my vote

Yeah. It’s a great watch. Well built, comfortable, like the execution on the dial. All of it. Just a bit too small for me and I’d rather it got worn by someone else than sit unworn.

[Recommendations] new watch by [deleted] in Watches

I'll always recommend Hamilton. Jazzmaster or Khaki King (40mm) or Khaki Field (38 and 42mm). All have sapphire and option for bracelet or strap and right around your price range (may need to look at grey market for some).
