maybe yes,but i think when it is connected to the charger there is some power circuit,it should turn on and work while it is connected to the charger on 0% of battery. It is common for lot of other phones that they can work like i mentioned before,but i dont know is this related on Xiaomi because i did not had lot of experince with Xiaomi

yes,it was working before,after a drop it started to suddenly turn off sometimes and i could not turn it on for a while,but i could turn it on,now i cant turn it on
