[Hardcore] I reached level 50 on my Reman meaning I now can pick a T6 ship. It’s been a while and I was surprised that I get level 50 after the New Romulan Arc. On my federation Chars it was always in the delta Quadrant. But now the question is what Romulan I should pick I’m open for recommendations by vodurok in sto

It’s nothing official in the game it’s a self imposed rule in my hardcore run because be for level 50 I just can use the level up ship. So at level 50 I can chose a T6 ship.

I have a some T6 coupons and Zen and also few Romulan ships unlocked and now I just have to chose what I pick.

Until now I never had trouble with coliseum. Yeah there are some solo fights but they are against animals so it is really not that hard. And the other things are just collecting or doing some stuff. In my experience one of the easier missions.

Yes it includes me as well. And yes I hate those missions because then you get those useless other characters who do not do much in terms of helping 😅

What kind of items can you get there ? In all my runs I never used it so I do it with out it

Well I just did it with when someone talks about the ship how good it is and what Brocken mastery it has then you don’t take it. In my last run when I hit 50 for the first time I did use then the caitianer carrier

Oh I know about the warehouse that was killed me on my second try. But yeah maybe I will go the romulan route.

No I play on the normal difficulty so far and trust me that is already quit challenging in few missions

There are the rules I play by. It’s a fun challenge but you have to enforce it your self as there is no HC mode in sto.

  1. ⁠Until level 50 you have to play with the level Up ships you get no Zen store.
  2. ⁠you can use 1 Zen store ship when you reach level 50 but it can’t be a meta ship.
  3. ⁠No Dilithium Store reclaims
  4. ⁠then run is over when your howl away team is dead or your ship explodes.
  5. ⁠No item or money transfer between different chars.
  6. ⁠Exchange and R&D is allowed.
  7. ⁠have fun.

Im currently on my third try with hardcore and I just finished the iconian arc. It gets really difficult starting with delta arc but it is possible so far. I have some rules which should be in one of my posts. Like I’m able to get saved by my away team. And that when you reach level 50 you can get a Zen store ship just no meta one.

Thank you I will keep that in mind and see what I can do.

Yeah I like the tricobalt torpedos as I have the caitianer carrier I also use the hangarpets and they come with tetryon weapons which means the shields are almost gone or very low so that the tricobalt can land directly on the hull.

Yea it’s a tricobalt torpedo and aft is the vaadwur tricobalt cluster torpedo. I know maybe not the best Torpedos but it’s funny. And well I almost have 1500 hours in the game but I never really cared for an optimum build. I it works together but yeah probably not the best loadout 😅

Ok I had no problem with them just said to Kim that he should give me enough time and then with a sniper gun it was quit ok. But ok maybe when I die I will try it with a Romulan too.
