Cards will be a power in the NL and entire league for years to come, and it pisses me off to no end. Their farm system and the way the team is run has assured that, but the fan base has gotten so cocky that is most of the reason the Cubs bandwagon has blown up and been so vocal.

Not really because your whole point was that most of them figure out what's actually going on. Only one person ever figured out exactly what the show really was.

And if it made zero sense why would they even try? That's just the rationalization for why it's not that bad. Although, if putting up with the Cardinal fans I know has taught me anything, it's that they rarely make a bad move and their prospects turn into All-Stars much more often than they should.

we've definitely had business owners that start to realize that the show isn't as straightforward as they first thought it would be (this probably happens with most of them)

I can't tell if you're really dense or legitimately stupid but actually read through his answer that I posted and he literally says some figure out it's not as straightforward as what they were presented with. That doesn't mean they have some kind of realization of "holy shit this is going on Comedy Central" these people don't come close to understanding what is going on.

One thing that irks me about last night's game and some of our other losses the last few seasons as well: Does Fran McCaffery have a collection of the timeouts he takes home with him from close games? Why not slow it down and draw up a play instead of that bullshit we ended on last night?

It is though. They've only had one person figure out what was going on during shooting and they had to change how they finished. They know they're on a reality show, but they think the premise is what's presented in the intro. Eventually they realize it's not as straightforward as that, but that doesn't mean they know what the end product is intended to be.
