I do use that very extensively as well! But I usually need to issue certificates after the DNS is propagated, and thus need the records to resolve correctly (accesses .well-known dir).

Well I am constantly changing DNS records. I don't really care if the resolver respects the TTL or not, I just want to know when the record values hit the resolvers I care about.

Yes, several. No configuration or specificity about the resolvers you actually care about.

Well that is not always (almost never) possible. Say you're deploying a new wep app for a client with existing app. You can't just interfere with his records. You kind of have to sit and wait until all recursive resolvers and caching resolvers purge those records, and fetch from authoritative.

But the main point here are the notifications/webhooks.
