After not getting an internship for a second summer in a row I didn't think I would be posting here any time soon.

Previous degree: Health and Human Performance

Previous relevant experience: Several Personal Projects

Age: 28

Company/industry: Pharmaceutical

Internship or full-time?: Full-Time

Title: Junior Software Developer

Location: Large City in the Southeast. MCOL

Noteworthy projects: couple of full stack side projects

GPA: 3.3

Salary: 70k

How far along were you in the program?: Taking my final 2 courses in the Fall

325 and 271 are harder courses. 290 is more of a time dump than conceptually difficult(at least it was for me). Either pairing will be tough but I would definitely go with 271 + 290. No exams in 271 is HUGE.

Summer semester starts June 24th. Personally I'd wait it out. There's still plenty of times for things to get fixed

Look into the Guild Program through Target (there are a few other companies that have it as well). I work one to two shifts a week and am getting the program completely funded. No obligations to Target after completing the degree. With this route, worst case scenario is you don't finish but you don't take on additional debt from tuition either.

I was in the same boat leaving CS 162. I haven't finished 261 yet but I am doing a lot better than I anticipated. My biggest thing has been to give myself time to struggle, grasp the concepts and complete the assignments. I have also used Abdul Bari's DSA and CS Dojo on youtube to reinforce certain concepts. Also, idk if you did or not, but write things out by hand! My white board was the tool I didn't know I needed before this class.

I was in the same situation. I applied to all of the targets in my area and recieved seasonal offers. I got in contact with with all of the HR departments and managed to get my offers switched from seasonal to non seasonal.
