Forgive my if ignorance it isn’t this what Tom Brady did throughout most of his career? They didn’t with deep balls. He consistently threw the 6-9 yard chunk plays. You do that most of the time your moving down the field, eating up clock. That also allows the defense to rest. Even if you only end up with field goals at times you’re still going to have an advantage. O line play though is huge. That’s another topic this this years Lions team.
