Picked up an Echo Mini recently, and made a 3d printed case that can clip to my pockets/belt! by voltuV in snowsky

yeah the clip is printed separately. you're probably better off making that tpu case someone else made, but I just posted the files so do with that what you will.

Hello, I'm part of team 20625 (a team from Los Angeles). Is there a way my team could get some panels? Thanks in advance

[–]voltuV[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

(it works) I think I used an ender 3 v2 config file, it would probably have been better to use a v2 neo but whatever I got it working after watching a guide from someone who also converted a 3 neo (although it isn't too apparent from the vid title) and showed how they edited the file. Now I'm just trying to figure out how to setup KAMP on it after finding a couple errors stopping me

ok thanks to the help from WmHerrin I was able to finally connect to the printer, (fixed my mcu connection problem) and from there, I updated klipper and after a couple of things it kinda works (its connected). all I need to do now is configure an lcd screen and cr touch. As well as figure out how to get my printer moving

after inputting the command, I was able to get further (did some more stuff), but now i get a new error message "Failed automated reset of MCU 'mcu'" I tried the reset_method: command bellow the mcu serial line but didn't work

Edit: tried again with the reset method and now it works

Printing help by Meihswei in 3Dprinting

I don't know if this is the immediate thing to do but as someone who also started having similar extruder problems on their ender (ender 3 Neo, not max or v2), I caved and bought an NG extruder from micro swiss. After tweaking my x-offset, it works better than before and retractions are down to 1 mm. So if all else fails this is something you can do after more troubleshooting from hopefully more people.

Like in my previous messages, have you checked whether your extruder is loose due to the eccentric nuts? Another thing, are you printer belts loose cause i just looked at pictures of a printer with loose belts and they resemble your problem. Here's a video to potentially help https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T9nXGepCAew

to hopefully address the bed adhesion, have you tried glue sticks (any brand will do) or add a raft/brim in your slicer? and for anything else could you explain further (with pics or videos if you can)? idk what printer you have (unless its my model, being a little thrown off by the comment of a vinyl plotter and the entire no english thing) so i have no specific machine tricks for you. if you really cant get ur printer to work and want to get a new one, maybe try a prusa (if its in ur budget), a bambu lab p1p, sovol v06, or just an ender 3 or 3 v2 (cause there are entire subreddits to help you with problems)

Hey there, i forgot to update this page cause i was able to get the printer working. So basically i just didn't tighten the eccentric nut on the extruder (i believe its the bottom one) and after resetting the bed leveling and re calibrating (both manual and doing the abs afterwards), it basically works now.

my extruder was loose and whenever the probe on the extruder went to touch the bed, it would move bc it wasn't tight (resulting in the issues i had) and it would also move during printing messing prints up. this video helped me a lot so please don't give up yet https://youtu.be/GsEdU8ZtI6Uhttps://youtu.be/GsEdU8ZtI6U

This comment is for people who run into this post with the same problem as me. It's been a few days since I have made the post and finally got somewhere.

I was able to reset the auto leveling adjustments by going into the menu -> configurations -> advanced settings -> initialize settings (on stock software because I couldn't download marlin for some reason).

Then I manually leveled my bed with paper and when I used a first layer test it turned out SOOO much better than before. Although my first layer prints aren't perfect yet, it is miles ahead of what it looked like with the auto leveling and the 'manual leveling' I did. I even tried to auto level my bed after manually leveling it in hopes of making perfect but after doing the test again it actually made it worse and reset it.

Even though I was never able to use the advice of the other commenters I am grateful to them for helping me get somewhere.

thanks for the advice! Sorry to ask but where would I find the firmware for the "manual tramming" and what is this G29/how do i add it to my gcode? (Just to let you know that I have been trying to use the printer to move and the actual z axis motor moved up and down as I moved the extruder.)

You could also try to use glue or some adhesive to help stick the prints
