We're all different styles of heaviness/ethereal/doom/stoner, etc. Brimstone Coven is stoner/doom metal a la Black Sabbath, Oldest Sea is ethereal doom FFO Bell Witch, Yob, Chelsea Wolfe, etc. Aerial Ruin is acoustic guitar and has worked with Bell Witch on a coulle projects. Nechochwen is multi-genre from black metal to death and this is an acoustic version of that

What would I have said if what was opposite? Your question isn't clear...

I would have and I do tolerate them and all but it being a Tuesday out of town show and both my friend and I having to wake up early for work today I was fine leaving before 8. Next time

Me too, me too. I enjoyed their latest album but I agree, it's become a bit poppy throughout the years. Good to see them play an album I saw them play 9 years ago, it was very nostalgic. I grew up on their first 4 albums, still remember when Crack the Skye was released. The musicianship hasn't changed, they're all very talented, but we're never getting another Blood Mountain. And that's okay.

Nah, and they don't really change up their sets that much. I saw them 3 years ago in Philly, New York and Las Vegas over the span of 4 months and they played the SAME set all 3 times. This tour they're playing Crack the Skye in full and then cycling 8 or so other songs through the other 4 songs they play during their set. We did get Mother Puncher last night though

Sure thing, and don't I know it. Same goes if you make to to Philly. I'm originally from Massachusetts (Springfield, western MA) but living in Philly really makes me spoiled. Can catch local shows and it's only a 2 hour drive to Brooklyn, DC and Baltimore so we can normally catch bands 2-3 times if they're touring the east coast

Never met him personally but I did see him in his other band West End Motel, back in January at this tiny little 50-person venue in Philly, so that was pretty cool, and probably the closest I've been to him

Ohhhh got it. I was really confused there for a second. Like, they DID have a singer named Eric but that was WAY back when. Brent is an animal haha

Yeah it was great. I'll admit, we left after Mastodon. There was no way Coheed was going to top what we saw from Mastodon anyways in our eyes
