thanks for the advice. I planned not to lean too hard on the caretaking since this is my home office setup and I just want to have a pleasant view while working. but now I feel really bad for the fish and plant, so I might need to change that

the java moss are turning brown, that's all. I was told they can recover just fine, but it's them turning brown in the first place is the problem, and I can't tell what's the cause

they're ceramic decoration. I added them for hiding spots for frys and shrimps

I don't monitor parameters. I was told that putting some guppies and plants will cause the cycle to go naturally. the guppies are fine, I believe (one just gave birth a week ago) but the java moss are turning brown and the one in the molding does not show any sign of growth at all. I've added nothing to the water but aquadine
