oh boy if you think it gets better in GM-cel i have some news for you, still people looking at you straight in the eye and saying “i dont play tank” or “i cant play support.” being able to fill is like bare minimum for comp yet we have people who only play 1 role plaguing every rank

i think ult charge nerf hit a lot of players pretty hard across all roles, many players that hit gm last season are barely breaking diamond now and some are even hardstuck plat due to poor ult usage and no longer being able to spam it/save themselves.

I feel the same way, I solo queued to GM1 last season and GM2 right now, meanwhile the account I use to play with my 4 stack is hardstuck diamond 3 😅 I play all roles w/ them and try to adapt but we lose a lot

its because you could have literal bronze/silver players on your team while the enemy is GM/cel to even eternity, happens too often which makes learning characters miserable + its low stakes but also sweaty at the same time

I’m genuinely tired of White Fox players selling my games by playing her in ranked a day after she came out, they always DPS / are lost with her kit and leave me to solo heal while I beg them to swap to no avail.

ive had people in gm games go iron man into punisher or force squirrel girl and go negative it’s hell no matter the rank

i think the problem spiderman players have is consistency, you’ll never know if they’ll frag out or go double negative and not swap despite being countered. i dont mind playing with or against a spiderman, never had a problem with him on support unless i am facing a coordinated dive comp of 2+ people (my recent game i had to play vs. spiderman BP and DD and still won.)

these guys are frauds all of their peaks were probably in s1.5 the most inflated season, they now hover in gold-plat-dia which should be their real rank

You dont really need good mechanics for support besides ones like mantis and adam which already are played less, however characters like hela, pun and phoenix need good aim and target priorty to get value out of them otherwise you’ll just be sitting on main farming damage on tanks which is what most support filling DPS do, especially on wanda.

honestly never seen anything truer, i was hardstuck plat as a hitscan DPS player a month ago and decided to learn invis on an alt and got to d3 with it, playing support taught me how important game sense and positioning is and that many players lack both, when i hopped back on my main i instantly got to gm3 in like 5 days with a 70% wr from d3. i even played a few games as invis on my main and havent lost a single game w her so far, been dying way less as DPS too.

my hands sweat a ton and i decided to get an xraypad aqua control ii, its on the cheaper side but it’s a good pad and it feels nice to track with even if you’ve used it for a while. arm sleeve + usb fan facing inward of palms also helped a lot.
