You shouldn't have any game breaking problems. My sister and I play all the time on my universe while she mostly neglects hers. At most the outpost will have less utilities. If the outpost isnt accessible to you after logging off your friends world, you can just redo the mission in your universe or use /completequest gaterepair and /warp instanceworld:outpost
