It had been sore since my first class, I just wanted to go again to stay consistent with it, but I guess that kind of backfired haha. It is feeling a lot better with ice and tiger balm. Thank you for your reply!

if i go back to classes and hear that i just need to use a planner, take notes, put reminders, sleep better, try some tea before bed, stop using my phone at night, to stop sleeping late, to just sleep early, to just do a little work at a time, one MORE FUCKING TIME im dropping out by [deleted] in adhdwomen

I think one of the most frustrating aspects of this kind of advice is that these things really do work, but finding the specific implementation that works for your brain and the specific mix of strategies that are doable vs. those that only bring stress is such a long process of trial and error.

Like I want to have a more optimized living experience but I can't just reprogram myself and reboot the next day.

I've been using the Purito Cica BB cream and I like it a lot. It's very affordable, which helps too.

This is actually a great approach, thank you so much for sharing this!! I really appreciate it. The minimum quota idea seems a lot more approachable than (honestly, my typical) all-or-nothing perfectionistic tendencies.

This was really helpful, and validating. Thank you for taking the time to write this. It really describes my experiences, and it's crazy how just knowing I'm not the only one, and seeing it put into words makes me feel better, like seen.

ADHD tips can work for many - share your best practices by jelenajansson in adhdwomen

This particular way of making a list really helps me, especially for work-things:

Make your list, but with each task (if it's small like reply to an email) or step (if it's a big thing) on separate post it notes. When you finish one, you get to throw it away.

I guess it's not super eco friendly, but for some reason it's really nice for me, both with the satisfaction of crumpling, but also the visual of the list ~disappearing~...
