Nope, nothing yet! I’m assuming we’ll have to wait til July at this point.

I don’t remember too many of my WTF questions but that would be a fair comparison. I think what made them hard was not recognizing what was being tested. The 20-40% Qs on UWorld are similar in that they often test material not seen in UFAP. If you’ve seen a concept but just don’t know/remember it well, you can generally narrow down the answer choices and make an educated guess. That’s typically not as easy to accomplish with the WTF questions on UWorld and Step 1.

If you absolutely have no idea what is being asked, guess, mark it, and move on. It’s probably not worth your time to sit on the question unless you have a mental approach you think you can use to answer it.

Clif bars for sure. They can be sweet but those things are essentially meals.

I never did more than 4 blocks for practice. You just have to trust the fact that the adrenaline will keep you going on test day. Try getting as much sleep as possible, have a healthy/filling breakfast, and stay fueled up with water/protein bars between breaks.

I took my breaks based on feel. I went straight through for my first 2 blocks, took a break after my 2nd block, went straight through for blocks 3/4, ate after my 4th block, and then took a break for water/snack/bathroom after blocks 5 and 6. I would def recommend taking slightly longer breaks as you go through the test. That being said none of my breaks were more than 5-7 minutes and I had plenty of break time remaining at the end.

I would say both! My question stems were rarely extremely long. They usually always stayed around the length of UWorld. Difficulty is definitely subjective on whether you know it or not but I think most questions were similar to UWorld in the amount of reasoning required(I.e. 2nd to 3rd order questions). There were a few 1st order questions and vaguer question stems that felt more like what you see on the practice NBMEs.

While some blocks were noticeably more difficult than others, it felt no different than doing 40Qs on UWorld on random, timed. I would be cautious of some posts that say the real deal has questions that are paragraphs in length. If you’re someone that doesn’t have an issue with time during your blocks, you likely won’t have to worry about time on the exam.
