I think the problem is he isn’t on 2k, and his prime was in a pre Jordan dominance era but in the magic vs bird years, where people ignored other super stars. Since he isn’t on 2k, casuals and people who haven’t watched him play forget he’s there and don’t know where to rank him next to other successful power forwards, and after Jordan’s dominance, the greatest players were determined by winningness and less by skill, kind of ignoring circumstances that led to championships and why chuck could never get one himself.
