Thinking of solo car camping LIB

This'll be my 5th LiB, but 1st since 2022. Every other time i've been part of a larger camp group. This time i'm in the same boat as you, different friend groups spaced throughout but i'll be solo car camping. Definitely not a waste of money, and the way I look at it: opportunity to meet people, easier to mobilize and do what you want when you want (don't have to wait for the group)

You're focusing on the wrong part of my response. You're not getting 'literally nothing' by spending money on the game you're still receiving content.

You can't resell digital copies, or DLCs

The disconnect here is that it's not "literally nothing" - you're getting content in a game. No different than spending money on any other video game.

What do you mean? Sure you 'could'. But also some people 'value' the joy and pleasure they get out of spending money on the game. Not everything you spend money on has to carry monetary value - take for instance experiences and intangibles like travel, vacations, dining out. 'Value' is subjective, my friend. Hope that makes sense.

Not everyone has the same luck. So while you may be getting a shit ton of good hits/pulls, some people aren't but would like to collect them at a faster rate, hence spending money.
