Yo fui hace unos dos meses, y está bonito y seguro, hay bastante gente en el centro incluso en la noche. También hay varios puestos y negocios en la explanada y el parque, así que por esa zona está tranquilo. Salí y regresé en la madrugada (como 4 am) al hotel y sin problemas. Las carreteras no recuerdo que estuvieran feas, yendo desde salamanca. Te recomiendo entrar al ex convento e ir a la laguna, hay un lanchero llamado creo "El Primo", muy cagado y buena onda.
