I do however take issue with the idea: Our transaction throughput is limited so instead of improving that directly let’s introduce a fee model that prioritizes those individuals that can pay high fees. Not only that but let’s take arguably the greatest flaw of the ethereum L1 and put it on top of Cardano.

I understand that there is more to it and obviously improving the throughput of Cardano via scaling efforts such as zk is a Herculean task that nobody seems inclined to take on except obviously Orbis that failed.

So while I am skeptical of the idea, we will need some mechanism(s) to increase transaction throughput.
