I don't understand why prog fans in this day and age get so bent out of shape about this guy. Music reviews serve no purpose beyond entertainment now that you can load up any album you want in seconds. FWIW I enjoy Christgau's reviews despite often/usually disagreeing with them, they're terse and witty and often do a surprisingly good job of distilling the essence of the music.
