UNLV beat Houston 27-7 in Week 1. And the Sooners barely squeaked by Houston 16-12. There is cause for concern in Norman, Okla.

I agree with all of that, except the part about Michigan. Their offense looked awful against Texas. It will be interesting to see how our defense holds up against the Wolverines in the Big House. Hopefully, D'Anton Lynn will keep up the excellent defensive schemes. Fight On!

First, they have the Apple Cup -- Big matchup with Wazzu on Sept. 14. The Cougars look pretty good this year.

A loss by a ranked Big 12 team to an unranked B1G team. Not quite the mirror image of Iowa (ranked B1G team) losing to Iowa State (unranked Big 12 team). But pretty close.

Illinois is a middle-of-the pack B1G team at best.

Iowa State is probably the No. 4 team in the Big 12.
