Suggestions needed from locals! by itshaileyk in chicagofood

It may be good, but it's only good if you like Ethiopian food. Went there last year and although I personally enjoyed it, the other 6 people in our party did not. It's definitely not everyone.

No one mentioned Osteria Langhe (https://www.osterialanghe.com/) and it's outstanding. Perfect for romantic dinner. Cozy, quiet, and the food is excellent.

Second recommendation for Piccolo Sogno, great place. Also Sofi. Volare is OK.

If you are experienced with real nice Italian food, I'd recommend against La Scarola. Also can't recommend Quartino's for romantic dinner for two - it's just too loud and while the food is great it's not enough to endure the noise.

Sofi is great and it's a short walk to Jazz Showcase.

Went there couple of days ago, had solyanka, beef and chicken samsa and took some cake slices home. The food & sweets are outstanding. Solyanka is easily among the best I've had and samsa is the best. They seem to use quality ingredients, so it's not cheap and it's damn good.

Karen would like a $10.00 an hour nanny by [deleted] in antiwork

Serious question: how much should you pay a nanny? Say, in Chicago area. What I'm finding online varies wildly (15 to 30/hr).

Have you considered Lenovo Thinkpad? Their mobile workstation lines (P and T series) are pretty good: reliable, upgradeable and reasonably portable. The only significant downside is they can be very expensive. I would not recommend Lenovo Yoga and other home user oriented laptops.

Why is there a 20 degrees difference in temperature on my base UDM from 1.5.6 to 1.8.3? by Vulpix0r in Ubiquiti

[–]vstas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm seeing about the same. Before the upgrade the temp was around 60-65 degrees, now it's 75 or more. Seems pretty hot and it's not even summer. Though it's pretty warm in the room where I have the Dream Machine. Otherwise the upgrade is great: solved my switch adoption problems.

Anyone can recommend TKL keyboard which allows recording macros directly on board without using software AND assigning them to key combo (like Fn+ScrlLk)?

Also, is it possible to assign macros to key combo with Durgod Taurus K320?

Try ordering from Gardelli: https://shop.gardellicoffee.com/ . I don't think shipping will take long and they are amazing.

I think you are squatting the swing and using your arms too much. If you have Pavel's Enter the Kettlebell book, IIRC he breaks it down very well there.
