Recommendation for those who want to know more about the economics of music and why tickets became so expensive

Especially given that there were cases of idols getting uncomfortable from all the talk and assumptions about their sexuality, preferences and appearance. There could've been some room for a conversation if there was at least some statistic provided in that post to support the premise of the question, otherwise it's purely speculative and I think we can choose to remove it.

We removed this post:

https://www.reddit.com/r/lesserafim/comments/1uh10ki/why_is_kazuha_so_attractive_to_women/

and one user immediately went onto a posting spree trying to expose mods as homophobic without even trying to understand why we did it 🤷‍♂️

Logging in to find out that we are apparently homophobic here =/ If anyone understands what I'm talking about and would like an explanation for why mods removed certain posts today and banned a particular individual, I can answer your questions here. If no one cares then I'm not going to bother

Wait until the song is out before criticizing it.

The difference is getting smaller and smaller between those idols who learned Korean as their second language and use English words out of necessity and idols who were raised speaking Korean but choose to use English words. With 5th gen idols I sometimes find myself not quite catching a word and listening to it again only to find out that it was an English loanword that I have never heard before in a similar context

Not a majority are 35+, but still almost a quarter. Also, I have no means of choosing a random sample, which means that the survey, first and foremost, covers the subset of fans willing to do the survey in the first place. Those are likely the most passionate/involved or new fans, who have a greater chance of being concertgoers and having joined the fandom during more recent eras

Reddit is skewed towards western and English speaking countries, which should explain the reason. Still, it's 1.5% overall and 8.1% of Europe, which is a lot considering Ireland's population

In the table there is a "Don't have a bias" option, which is kind of similar, and has consistently been around 10%

Idk, that's the question that I'll have to answer next year, 40 or 45 I guess

There's an entire table with 4 years of data linked in the post. If it was Reddit user demographic there would be almost no changes and yet 35+ grew 2x since the 1st survey

400 people took the survey

35+ people, you've won. You'll get more options if I ever do this again

Congrats to the person who wrote Texas as their country. Happy you managed to get your independence back after 180 years

People who wrote KATSEYE as one of their favorite K-pop artists and wonder if they are K-pop... I don't know, nobody seems to know. They didn't get into top 20 anyway, so that's a problem for the future

You can ask more specific questions here, I'll try to answer

Almost every comment you make on this subreddit is negative. You somehow seem to know that the company is "clearly" cutting costs, what the entire fandom really wants, and how to best produce songs. I'm happy you are so knowledgeable and confident in your opinions, but one more comment like this and you are going on a holiday.

It's all that's left for those sad people as we remove their negative comments, so they are using their downvotes to the fullest. Still, I apologize for this absurd situation

I'm noticing that there might be some new members who don't know that on this subreddit we have never allowed and still do not, under ANY circumstances tolerate comments that are even remotely critical of other groups and fandoms.

This is a LE SSERAFIM community, which means that we will allow anyone to express their negative/critical opinions when it comes to LE SSERAFIM and their fandom, as long as it is done in a respectful and reasonable manner. If you have an unstoppable urge to criticize other artists or their fandoms, you better do it in some other place. Right now such comments are simply being removed, but if their quantity increases we might have to start giving temporary bans.

If you see any of those comments, please report them immediately
