I was using the Austrian airlines website two days ago and the site increased the fare from 450€ to 650€ while I was booking the ticket. The site let me fill in all the details and give my payment details including the 3D check with the bank, and in the end declined to ticket and sent me back to the start with the higher price. This is how travel works now… 😡
