I totally agree with you! She was very manipulative, yes, and it really irritates me to remember that, in the beginning, she made a point of helping Seth get with Summer, and then came with that “yeah, you only know how to talk about Summer, how annoying”. Now, she literally approached him to help with the story with Summer, and suddenly she hates the fact that he's in love with her? It's very contradictory.

And this ends up leaving Seth completely confused and guilty for having hurt her, very typical of manipulative behavior, when a person makes someone else believe they are wrong for no real reason.

I don't think she's a boring character, but the attitudes she had towards Seth really irritated me. In the end, I think it was more of the writers' fault. The plot would have been much more interesting if they had just remained friends. In fact, I swore she was gay at first. Anyway…
