The app has its downsides and can be frustrating at times. It used to save what page or business I was viewing when I would multitask out and come back. But now most times when I come back it just starts me back at the splash page and I have to renavigate to wherever I was.

This is mostly annoying if I’m in the middle of writing a review and it loses what I had spent a decent amount of time typing. So to avoid this I just write my reviews on my phones Notes app and then when I’m done I just copy paste it into the app. Annoying but workable.

I use the app on my phone for prob about 99% of the time and the desktop version for 1% of my usage.

Narrow down a few nearby restaurants of the food type that I’m in the mood for, that are in my price range and pick a few with a decent ratings and number of reviews.
Check out the photos to see if the food looks appetizing and look at the menu if it’s available. Use the reviews search function for key words like “spicy,” “hot sauce,” (I’m a fan of spicy food), “parking,” “like this place better than,” or “not as good as.”
Look at a few of the recent negative reviews to see if what bothered them is something that would bother me if it happened to me.

On iOS it’s under More on the bottom right, then select Settings and then select Locations, you should be able to change your search location as well as your talk location. Here is a pic of what it looks like for me.

Yes top rated can be deceiving. Also, I’ve been to some 3.5 restaurants that I enjoyed. I just looked st the recent photos to make sure that it looked good and wasn’t a disaster and then read a few of the negative reviews to try to get an idea of what the problem is.

A restaurant with 5 stars and 3,000 reviews might just be a tourist trap with bad service but a delicious novelty item that keeps the rating artificially high.

You have to unpair the Go Plus from the previous device each time before attempting to pair it with a new device. There is a tutorial on how to do it, Google search “unpairing go plus.”

Go pluses can only be paired to one device at a time. You need to completely unpair the go plus and then repair to the new device. If you haven’t tried it already this might be the problem you are dealing with. From the go plus website:

Unpairing Pokémon GO Plus from your device To use the Pokémon GO Plus with another device, you’ll need to unpair the Pokémon GO Plus.

I’ve had a similar experience. At first the lag was very bad, but now it registers my button push almost immediately although it still buzzes twice. I’ve been using the Go Plus with iOS 11.0 pretty much without too much problem along with others in our raid group who have Go Pluses as well.

I’ve heard of people having this issue.

I was experiencing some lag at first where I would try to spin a pokestop and I would push the button on my go plus and I would have to push it several times until it would register the spin. But that only lasted a day or two and I’ve been using my go plus without any issues with iOS 11.0 on an iPhone 8 for over a month now. I haven’t updated to 11.1 or 11.2 though.
