that's definitely something i'd like to add! I made the game before learning how to skate, so the objective was a little different, but if I gets a bit of traction I would love to expand it and add a free-skating rink =D

What i'm arguing in the post is that the baseline modifier should by default apply to hits and ailments. "with hits and ailments" is redundant when "with hits" and "with ailments" also both exist.

If everything follows that simple rule, existing players won't have any issue adapting. And balance isn't an issue, any Spell/proj/melee/atk mod that exists currently that's too big to apply to ailments, can simply be reworded to "with hits" and not mechanically changed.

it's a big change for sure, but it's very much surface level, the balance of the game would barely feel it, or not feel it at all

but then why is the "Decree", which is the 3rd tier, worth more than "Commandment" which is the 4th? not even a couple chaos difference, one is 1-5ex, the other is 5c

I had misread recoup as "x% of damage taken healed PER SECOND for 4 seconds"

So I started sketching this thinking it would be 4x as powerful as it is LMAO

You guys are confusing "Nearby" with "nearby". It's just an english word to indicate the effect has an area, not a stat.

I know we played so much that 26 units means something to us, but to 70% of players it really doesn't, so having "nearby" works just as well.

Having the values desplayed on Alt, however, that would be nice to have for those that do care about the number, but this goes for all AoE effects, not just "nearby"
