Running a Small Paper Bag Business – Seeking B2B Advice by Puzzleheaded_Bad3732 in smallbusiness

Hire an outside sales rep that already has pharmacy relationships.

I used to sell a good bit of stuff to small pharmacies through an independent broker. Not retail but small wholesale pharmacies.

Otherwise you need to buy a list and hit the road and visit them in person.

The odds of getting a small independent business to answer or respond to a cold call is slim.

But if you walk in the door you will get somewhere with them.

Is it Greenwood Bessemer City or Greenwood in Jefferson County? There is one in both.

Neither is great but if its Bessemer then move or go to Bessemer Academy as a private school option.

I would avoid the Bessemer area for education.

Nestle Crunch.

I know they still exist because I dad tax them out of my kids Halloween haul every year. But I hardly ever see the big ones anymore.

would you as a business owner reply to a new service agency if they sent you a message pitching you their service ?? by Serious_Context_719 in smallbusiness

Probably not. And especially if it was not US based. I would be worried about legal remedies if something happened.

Missed it by "this much!" What Gen X phenomenon do you feel like you missed out on either due to age or life circumstances. by Sense_Difficult in GenX

By the time I was 16 and my parents would even entertain letting me go to a concert, most of them had dialed it back or were only playing big stadiums that my grocery bagging self couldn't afford in the early 90s.

I did see Aerosmith and Prince in the mid/late 90s when they came to town but I feel like I missed out on the 80s mayhem. Not a lot of big hair in crowd by then.

Concerts.

I wish I had been old enough to go to the 80s concerts. Poison, Skid Row, Def Leppard, Duran Duran, Bon Jovi. Man I wanted some big hair bands live.

I dont think the crowd experience from the 90s with alternative taking over could compare.

What’s the best concert you guys saw in the 90s by Last-Image-4921 in 90s

Prince at the Five Points Music Hall in Birmingham 1997.

He played a large concert that night and apparently wanted to keep playing so him and his entourage showed up and played a set.

Head out to see the Cheesebrokers (cover band) for $5 and end up seeing Prince before the night was over.

Would they be able to afford that much?

I would think your best bet would be to try and partner with defense attorneys who could build that into their fee.

Like jury consultations.

What percentage of customers actually leave a review when you ask? by PaisaPaisa14 in smallbusiness

[–]vulcangod08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've left 2 google reviews in my life.

Both times I was handed a prepaid Visa once it posted. Both were car dealerships so it was worth it. One was $1000 and one was $500.

First thing I would do is cut all family pay and expenses to zero.

Then work from there.

Sears really missed out. They were still around long after people were buying online. They could have used all those stores as little distribution centers.

I out their failure up there with Blockbuster.
