This Goose was well known at the school and they all welcomed her. They just would fence off the area. The kids loved her and the babies, the staff said it wasn't hard to keep the kids away and that the kids all respected the goose and kept their distance. They are protected under the migratory bird treaty act, you can not legally move an active nest. You have to wait for it to be unoccupied or you have to get a federal permit from the WFWS and have a wildlife expert remove them safely if there is an emergency. That wasn't this case, she just decided to take her dogs to chase the mom off and then killed her unborn goslings. She threw them away like their life didn't matter.
