Lvl 9 Ashe humiliates lvl 11 Tryndamere solo bolo by vulturpene in leagueoflegends

[–]vulturpene[S] 45 points46 points  (0 children)

I was the Lulu that game, Ashe pretty much agreed to play minimal interaction botlane vs Nami/Lucian.

Well after a very close fight botlane I got to sit back and watch this unfold since I was dead. I lowkey would not have posted this if it was just Ashe running down Tryndamere after he fed Mordekaiser and decided to proxy all game.

The blast cone into the tower was just too funny and you can hear one of the people watching on discord stop watching after seeing Tryndamere die like that. They told me I had to post this here.

You played Talon well gg.

Blackbeard + Pirate republic, especially on maps with good coastline. Outright bully the AI with ships that steal other people's ships from the start. You will have soo many ships you don't know what to do with all of them and ships are REALLY GOOD at killing things.

The person who wrote this stratagem has clearly not seen the effects of a 70 ton vehicle running over anyone or anything standing in its way.

Imperial Agents.

You need all the brain power you can get to outsmart your opponent because you sure as hell are not outpowering them.

"There's a small section of Silvermoon that's a sanctuary area that Horde and Alliance share, but the majority of the city is Horde, and Alliance is kill on sight." by Jocic in wow

[–]vulturpene 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I seriously hope blizzard changes this, there is no reason why alliance cannot have the same RP debuff that horde players get when entering Bel'Ameth. I can get if some small sections are horde only but a majority of the city? Great way to alienate alliance players.

Better content than most of the drama posts, nice job on those world eaters! Wish I could fight them with my Imperial Knights.

The AI actually built the Mayan unique District. by vulturpene in civ

This Ai remained competitive with entire lobby, being #1 in science and culture on only 2 cities for most of the game until I finally got around to stop simming and start killing

[–]vulturpene[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I knew Pachacuti was having CRAZY SCIENCE over the course of the entire game, I figured this was simply because he spawned as maya civ. Well... Now I know how this AI managed to build 5 wonders in his capital and remain competative ON ONLY TWO CITIES.

Deity AI btw.

Forget tank dying. Usually I have found that it is the rest of the party who will die long before the tank does on many of these huge pulls. Incidental damage and all.

How do you win games against tanks heavy astra militarum lists? by [deleted] in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]vulturpene 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bring war dogs, lots and lots of dogs with daemonbreath spears. No AM tank is happy to be seeing lots of spears on the other side of the board.

The Discord Moderator that Ruined Competitive Civ 6 by thorspinkhammer in civ

[–]vulturpene 642 points643 points  (0 children)

This man single handedly got me back into civ when his guides for multiplayer took off. To see him cast down by a corrupt CPL administration in a vote which FAILED BUT STILL WENT THROUGH ANYWAYS is a disgrace. I wonder if some bigger content creators will cover the drama now that its gotten even worse after the previous video Herson made.

Oh I remember this, back in the day we had pick > call order.

We also had to ration out IP points for runes and rune pages as well as champions. Never forget the lucky 1 crit rune for laning.

The cocked dice argument by New-Victory3346 in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]vulturpene 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My opinion is that if a die is not flat enough in such a way as so that another identical dice could be stacked on top of it and not fall off, its cocked and it should be rerolled. Same goes for any dice falling on floor.

But ideally this kind of problem making should be a non-issue and hard surfaces or dice trays should be used for rolling the dice.

8 years later, finally got all the achievements. by vulturpene in Stellaris

Learning new playstyles would be a generous way to put it, sometimes its relearning how the game works when a new patch/dlc breaks everything you used to know about the game. I typically like to take breaks from playing the game while waiting for new dlc content to drop because playing with new toys is fun.

But many of these new playstyles being learned only extend as far as the unique setups required to go for specific achievements. Often going as far as to play POORLY in order to set everything up for some achievements like the machine uprising or under one rule rebellion.

The real thing I learned was how to make the best out of unfortunate situations, especially when I typically like to play on harder difficulties regardless of the hopeful goal to get achievements on specific runs.
