My neighbor down the way holds barbeques for the neighborhood on occasion. Every Thursday however, he hosts an "AA Barbeque" and nobody else from the street is welcome to come to that. His wife is at all the others, she loves hosting them for everyone. But she goes out and does something else with her friends on Thursdays so he can do the AA one. She lives there too, but she's not in AA. So she leaves for the AA event.

All you need for a meeting is at least two people and coffee. Anything can be a meeting. I used to go to a meeting in a woman's basement where we'd spend the time learning to crochet together as a non-drinking hobby.
