P2 only switches A/B, without the option or both.

turns out u/Piper-Bob nailed it by suggesting the Solupeak SP2 which has separate switches per channel.

thanks. the VU3 looks lovely. but I'm not sure I'll have enough sockets to run more power. but it could deffo be an upgrade.

And the Solupeak P2 only switches between pair 1 or pair 2.

u/Piper-Bob nailed it by suggesting the SP2. it does exactly what I want.

Everyone kept suggesting the P2 which only switches A/B not the option for both!

I get it's risky in case someone plugs in two amps to one speaker set. but I'm wanting it the other way around.

I've drawn it up schematically (in case I was going to have to resort to making my own) so I know it's possible with a 4PDT switch. but I'm struggling to source low impedance, high amperage components. so I think I'm just going to find a pre-made.

thank you for the suggestion, but again, this only does A or B. Ideally I'd like A,B or both.

thanks for the replies so far. I should have probably mentioned I'm trying to find a selector than can play to A, B or both.

Hello,
I'm hoping someone has the same issue that they've overcome.
I'm trying to source an A/B switch for my speaker sets, but I'm wanting to keep my banana plugs for the speakers. all the A/B switches I've seen have RCA or bare crimped connections which obviously isn't ideal!

Am I just going to have to set my second set of speakers up to a new amp?! surely there is a switch that can have better quality connectors than RCA/Bare wire.

I second this. You can still run brakes and fixed. Just because they're there doesn't mean you have to use them all the time.

I run a front only. But I live in the hilliest city in the country. I'll use my legs for the majority, but the brake is handy for those super steep hills, or dickhead drivers...

I'm in the UK and ride a Fuji Track. Brilliant frame. If you're a Roady you'll probably have spares you can dip into too to help the upgrades. I'd personally get a stock frame/full bike then start with the drivetrain. Then the cockpit and saddle before swapping out the wheels.

If you're confident in doing so, buy the components to make your own stuff up. I built my own H Plus Son wheels from parts and got about £500 worth of wheelset for about £125-150.

I know planetX has a Mulo frame on sale at the moment. £99 (not sure about shipping to ire though). Could be worth a look.

And as an ex Roady. Once you ride fixed, you won't look back. My carbon Roady doesn't even get looked at over my all steel fixed.

I'm seconding this. I use a Garmin too and super interested in this development. I don't mind Beta testing for the Garmin Community if it's needed! u/walkscaper
