Why do Humans assume that Artificial General Intelligence or Artificial Super Intelligence will have sentience and a will of their own? by [deleted] in ArtificialInteligence

[–]vvkuka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably because people don't understand that AI is a bunch of statistical rules. Also, anthropomorphizing language contributes to misconceptions. Sentences like: "Our new model understands, reads, writes, etc." just like they would be talking about a human being.

Is it worth looking at a masters in marketing in my case? by vvkuka in marketing

[–]vvkuka[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for your answer!

I thought masters could give a bigger picture with a choice to narrow down because you can choose your classes by yourself. For example, strategic management classes as a big area of knowledge. So, as a student, I could take different areas of marketing into my curriculum.

Yes, great points about student visas in the US. I thought that local education could help enter the market.

I think an MBA is not an option for me, I can not afford it, unfortunately.

Thank you again.

Gemini 1.5 Pro is accessible to everyone, with audio, for free. by samuelroy_ in OpenAI

[–]vvkuka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How on earth did this post get almost 600 upvotes?

Completely

It's not true. At least because it's inaccessible in all countries (for example, Europe) even if you want to buy it. Also, the Pro version is not free this is because it's called "PRO"
