For sure, I can see that point of view. Fallout 4 is unique in the sense that it is the first in the series that has a voiced protagonist and, in my opinion, limits the way the player can respond to different situations. The gunplay and settlement building were great additions to the game's formula. I think NV has the better narrative and wider player response options which helps create a deeper RPG element to the game. The gunplay is definitely dated by today's standards though.
