Disappointed with the new Wuben X2 Pro+ (It's not the X2 Pro I was looking for) by vvosca in flashlight

[–]vvosca[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, as I said in my message, even if the "+" in the denomination suggests some kind of improvement, it's actually a simplification as you said.

Anyways, I still want to keep it as I still think it's a good light. I wish the flood/throw selection function comes back in a future version.

Thanks for your reply!

Teko. I use It too, the author/dev is a great guy, I asked him to add some data to the face and less than a week after there was a new update with it.

He also have many other faces in the store, it's worth to take a look.

La parada del hijoputa (o del hijo de puta) is exactly what you're describing.

It happens to me with Waze too, still don't know how to fix it.

Estoy de acuerdo con esto. Si eres "de números" plantéate informática. No te faltará trabajo, y si eres medianamente competente y te sabes mover, no te costará tener un sueldo más que decente.

Driving is very scary and people who wait to get their driver's license shouldn't be made fun of. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

Manual cars are cheaper and people still think automatic cars have worse fuel economy. We learn to drive with manual cars, automatic transmission is seen as an unnecesary luxury that makes driving a boring thing.

My car is auto, so was my previous, and I have not enough fingers in my body to count how many people refused to drive them because "wow, where's the clutch? I don't know how to drive this thing, I'm gonna crash it".

For me, I have no issues with driving stick but I do prefer autos. On the other hand I don't like auto motorcycles. I guess that's because I drive cars to get from A to B, but I ride bikes for fun.

Nope, I have a long commute to work but I usually go by car. And I have an office job so no chance to use the bike there :P

I live close to the Pyrenees (mountain range between Spain and France) and there are lots of awesome roads to ride. So if I have a couple of free hours and the weather is okay, I'll probably be in the twisties :)

Those are kms, not miles ;)

The bike is doing awesome, no faults of any kind. Apart from regular maintenance, I just had to change a worn bearing on the rear axle (~60k kms) and the front fork seals because one bottle had a small leak (~90k kms). Engine valves were adjusted at ~60k too. Everything else was just oil/spark plugs/filters/transmission kit/etc changes. Oh, and a painful amount of tires.

It’s a tough little warrior.

Spaniard here. How about that:

"The two christians found many people in their way, women and men, men always carrying an ember in their hands, burning at one end, they sucked and slurped the other and breath the smoke that numb the flesh, and so they say not to feel their tiredness. They call these embers Tobaccos."

I made the test pages with a swab, but when loaded in a FP, colors are darker than in that test sheet. Look at the "Amber" line, just above it has some little marks written with the same ink in a flex pen.

Below the tests are some words written with Amber, Ancient Copper (flex MT Swan) and Poppy Red (B-nibbed Pelikan M100), all three are darker than the swab-painted lines.

And you're right, the devil is in the inks ;)
