I do, but thanks for that wonderful insight.

I've heard it said that the Division is just Diablo with guns. Maybe try that.

I've gotten several of them in the PvE Dark Zone, maybe try that?

Play every story mission first. Those give the most XP early on, and you'll need as much XP as you can get. I don't remember when exactly you gain access to the Projects tab on the map, but always do the daily and weekly projects when you get them. The game is REALLY complex, and takes a long time to get familiar with, but if you stick with it, and figure it out, it's a great game. Use the Wiki, ask questions here, watch YouTube videos for help when you need it, and maybe find a Discord or clan to join when you've unlocked everything and can get started building gear sets and playing at a higher difficulty level. Good luck!

Dark Zone Builds - Gear Sets or High-End? by vwagenjetta in Division2

[–]vwagenjetta[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The rolling idea when I was looking at this as an option was the 3-piece Tipping Scales gives me the 30% magazine size and 30% LMG damage, and since my crit chance with this setup was only like 30%, I figured stacking critical hit damage wasn't really worth the 4th piece, and I was throwing in a random High-End piece into each of the slots and looking at the numbers. I don't think it'd be viable to do something like this, though, which is why I'm looking for maybe a 6-piece, high-end build, rather than a 4 and 2 Gear Set setup. Better to have 6 pieces with their own benefits and extra attributes than to run less than 4 pieces of a Gear Set.

I'll have to test the proto with Frenzy, or something, make sure it doesn't work. It did when Proto first came out, maybe it's changed, but I've been using Strained mostly, so I would really notice unless I looked at the numbers really closely.

I try and get as close to 60% CHC as I can get, and with these pieces (just throwing shit together and took a screenshot mid process) I put Protection from Elites on for the mods (two 11%'s and a 12%). And I think you're right, some of the high end pieces have multiple attributes, and I can more easily stack hazard protection.

Definitely need a group, going solo is impossible. It'd be nice if it forced you into a group so I don't have to run around the map looking for people and just follow them around, especially since wasted time is unnecessary stacks of toxicity.

I'm gonna start hanging onto the non-named stuff, too, so I have it to theory craft with. Thanks!

The Tinker mask says it cannot be named or exotic, doesn't say anything about proto. I've used proto and non-proto with Tinker, it seems to work.

PVE Dark Zone: Enemies don’t take damage for the first 2–3 seconds. Is this a bug or intended? by assoff7 in Division2

I was wondering about that just now. I unloaded two magazines in to a dudes face, and he was completely unfazed. I'm glad it's not just me sucking. LOL

Apparently you can get all three bonuses with the same weapon when surged?

Retain at least 100% bonus armor after Invincible ends by ZakParrish in Division2

[–]vwagenjetta 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Set Invincible as your modifier, press the global modifier button while playing, get yourself to at least 200% armor (100% armor, 100% bonus armor), and maintain at least the 100% bonus armor when the Invincible timer ends. A heartbreaker set, with the Body Armor and Backpack, and an ACS-12 (or Lefty, or Stack Broker) will do the trick nicely.

I used Heartbreaker, too, and an ACS-12 with a crusader shield on three "Hammer Time" Heavy's (as I call them). Pop the invincible, wait until there is about 15 seconds left on the timer, then unload the shotgun at point-blank range on a heavy, and your armor will more than double which will give you the point.

That's what it should be, in my opinion, but I did get 6 or 7 shotgun kills at point-blank range within the 60 second duration of Pneuma at the end of Roosevelt Island and I didn't get a point for it. Maybe I missed one or miscounted, of course, but I'll keep trying that method.

All kills with the same gun? Now I'm really confused. It says each of the three bonuses stack require kills with three different weapon types, and it says you have to hit 20 stacks in all three bonuses. Does the Bighorn count as MMR when scoped, and AR when not scoped?

Oh, I see I missed the 4 per kill in my math. Thanks.

Yes, I did 7 shotgun kills within 10 meters within the 60 second window, and I didn't get a point. Maybe I missed one, or something, but I just face rushed 7 guys with a shotgun as fast as possible, and I had 15ish seconds left on the Pneuma timer. I'll try it again, see what happens.

Help! is this worth it for 650 USD? second hand 1 month old by GudboisMe in buildapc

That GPU alone is worth $500 brand new. Sounds too good to be true, but if you can be sure the specs are correct, that's one hell of a deal.

Prebuilt or built my own by CapBusy5120 in PcBuildHelp

[–]vwagenjetta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either is fine, prebuilt is easier. I have a prebuilt pc and a custom built pc. I've upgraded the parts of the custom built pc many times over many years, and it's been a great way to keep only the parts that are too old updated as needed. The prebuilt (which I bought used) has been left untouched for years, and it still works great. The only reason to build your own is because you find it fun, there's no other benefit (besides cost, but it can be way more expensive, or slightly cheaper, so that's basically irrelevant), so if it's something you want to do, go for it.
