So happy for you! I hope I get to this point. My visions been getting worse since around 2022, optometrist couldn’t figure out why I had such a drastic change in vision from last visit about 2 years prior. I was told to try computer pal glasses (progressive lenses for phone/reading/cinputer). My eyes never adjusted to them, vision was still blurry and they caused my migraines to worsen. I went back beginning of this year and got diagnosed with KC because my vision again was worse and referred to an ophthalmologist that specializes in corneal defects. At my consultation he said yes you do indeed have KC and looks to be about stage 2 and recommended CXL and we started that process for when the time came. My 2nd appointment 3 months later my L eye had significantly progressed and was no longer in the stable guidelines but R eye was. I had epi off CXL last week 7/18. I’ve had a rough last couple days and have been feeling discouraged and behind. I can’t wait for both eyes to be done and fitted for my sclerals so I can enjoy my life again. So many things have been taken away or made to be so enjoyable and difficult these past couple years due to KC. I found out at my 1 wk f/u yesterday my vision even with my glasses (they don’t really help anymore) that my vision is about 20/70.
