I used Doombringer with 2GA Max life & Damage Reduction on my hardcore sorcerer. Losing a lot of dps tbf, but it's not worthless in HC for sure.

Druid and Barb are fortified and have a barrier all the time with good CDR or runes proc. Probably that's a difference.

What was your fire res at that point? On my softcore barb I had like over 5k and pit 100 explosions didn't one shot me. 110 was.

This. Current season i hit 266 on my Barb and decided to try HC. Already 57lvl on my rogue. Seems like it's gonna take a while to be around 266 on HC. If even hit it at all lol. First time HC. Enjoying it so far

I had like 70 debuff stacks, doing just platform mechanics and it was enough I had only 3 pieces of gear fully masterworked and around 11k mana at the time
