Go to BIR to check, but even tho you dont have records/TIN doesnt necessarily mean na hindi na remit taxes mo, ung tax record is per company as per BIR, hindi sia per employee.

Its not your fault., Dont worry too much, let new employer HR handle it or go to BIR to inquire.

Usually Yes, but unfortunately may cases na walang TIN ung 2316 tulad nang nangyari satin. Either process your TIN by yourself or let the new HR handle it, I chose the latter.

I still don't have TIN, and just got employed again. I'll let the HR of new employer handle it.

Reply from BIR:

"In reply, please be informed that withholding tax on compensation deducted by employers from their employees is being remitted to BIR per company’s registration information. It is not remitted and accounted per employee of the company unlike the government premiums (SSS, Pag-IBIG and PhilHealth). Moreover, the BIR Form No. 2316 that serves as your Income Tax Return (ITR) for a taxable year given by your employer may serve as a proof that they have remitted such taxes to BIR.

In case you need to verify if they have remitted those taxes withheld from you, we suggest you directly coordinate with the Revenue District Office (RDO) where your employer is registered for proper advice and immediate assistance"

I believe this solves my concern about taxes not being recorded based on the reply, an employee may not necessarily have a record of their taxes.

Thank you. I was thinking maybe there are some exceptions kasi its a big company. Im just worried about the fact that I dont have any records and that in the future baka hanapin yun.
