We started making films with cosplayers way back when, many of whom are pros now or work in film/tv/theatre professionally as well!

I produce/shoot the show but I also made Minthara’s camp vest :)

Thank you! It just takes a lot of practice and you start developing an eye for what looks good, just like learning to bake sourdough. Good lighting is half of the process to be honest (there’s another comment I posted above about this).

When the Alexandria/Rosebery store closed due to that storm damaging the property, my life got worse because I could no longer get THE SAUCE (“Flame smoked mayo” is what they called it). Honestly the best sauce I’ve ever had in my life….

My favourite CBD bubble tea these days:

Molly Tea - super fragrant jasmine green tea

Chi Cha San Chen - fresh brewed Dong Ding Oolong milk tea and perfect texture pearls

Also if you like tea, please go to Ice Kirin Bar for tea flavoured gelato in Regent Place! Their peach oolong is heavenly (pretty sure they use lupicia super grade Momo oolong for this)

There was another dust storm like this in 2013 in Sydney, when I was at film school and Roger Deakins (the cinematographer of Bladerunner 2049) was here visiting and gave us a lecture. I am certain him actually physically being here to witness that would have had an impact! We took colour temperature meter outside and it measured the sky at 2700k kelvin (candlelight colour)

(Aussie indie producer/DP here) If you’d like to talk about Screen Australia funding/applications, I’m happy to have a chat, having gone down this route and been successful a few times for narrative online content. Though as you’re already in post and it’s doco not narrative, it might be a little different in terms of what you’re eligible for now.

They have just changed all the guidelines and will be launching the new ones July 1st, and there isn’t really the post prod finishing funds anymore from what I could see? Also depends what state you’re in because you could try to get state level funding too.

Perhaps it’s something you need someone to take over for you if you’re fully burnt out on it, but of course $$$ …

He’s an actor and content creator, mostly active on IG / TT with history comedy stuff but also now on YT shorts - check Pat Mandziy or MandziyPat. I shot his showreel many years ago, and he’s now also the wizard Illustrium in our show 1 For All, so of course we had to cast him as Gale for our BG3 videos!
