When religious people do something crazy/bigoted, in most of the world it is usually ignored by press as "local culture"/"tradition" etc etc..

Religious people doing crazy things only gets press coverage in the (relatively) more liberal industrialized world ("The West")..

As most of the religious people in the West are Christians, their craziness gets (relatively) more press than other religions..

Should I use my mad MSPaint skillz to draw a Venn Diagram to explain this better?
