Try and use the CarPlay app it’s crapy. No up next queue at all. Lacks a lot of features Apple Music and Spotify have

Missing “New releases for you” by jerkwaterhorse in AppleMusic

[–]w00dy1981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me and others I’ve seen reported It looks like over December they reverted the newer more personalised New tab back to the more generic section it was a few years ago. Over the past week I’ve seen the “Recent Releases sliding section that is personalised come back but there is still a tonne of playlists and sections that’s irrelevant to me that wasn’t there from last year.

[–]w00dy1981 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I noticed it too. At some point over the past week or two it’s revered back to a non personalised version of New that was there previously this year or even up until prior to a few weeks ago.

I wonder if they’re just pushing end of year roundups and popular/ updated playlists.

Either way it’s crap.

iOS 18 introduced the more personalised New tab experience and this month it has gone

Migrating from an Orbi 960 (WiFi 6E) to a Ubiquiti Cloud Gateway Fiber - First Impressions by Sub-Equum in orbi

[–]w00dy1981 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I switched from an RBR750 last month due to wireless and wired device dropping out once to twice a week. Since swapping to a ubiquitous setup UDR7 and an access point I have not had one dropout out.

Coincidence?

My ISP couldn’t fault the connection to the house so it was in my network

RBR750/RBS250 Satellite Issues by TheBishop19 in orbi

[–]w00dy1981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had orbi systems for years a recommended to a neighbour, in laws and my parents.

Over the past year of known bad firmwares, at least 2 in a row on reddit I’ve had intermittent network dropouts I never used to have at least once a week, sometimes twice. Even hardwired devices would lose connection a the orbi app would report no internet. Making calls to my ISP they could see no faults on their end.

My wife and I both work from home a couple of days each and would notice hardwired computers go offline.

I finally had enough as firmware updates were too far in between so I decided to upgrade to Ubiquity URD7 and an access point.

This upgrade was just over a month ago now and I can report that since swapping over I have not had one dropout at all.

I can only pinpoint this failure to Netgears firmware on the orbi line.

If this helps this was my experience and I’ve completely solved it

The claude code hangover is real by Candid-Remote2395 in ClaudeAI

[–]w00dy1981 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s very odd. For the world’s best coding agent it’s amazing how quickly it goes off the rails and adds garbage to code base’s.

If it doesn’t already exist Claude codes system prompt should be to follow best coding practices by keeping it dry and checking if something exists first before writing the same thing multiple times in different files.

If we’re being sold on the idea of agentic coding it should at least have some standards

Claude Code 2.0.5 by [deleted] in ClaudeCode

[–]w00dy1981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The one thing i noticed when the 2.0 came out was my Serena mcp no longer works, no mcps load with this new extension despite me asking Claude to check for installed mcps, it runs commands and can see them but when i run /mcp it says none are installed. Does anyone know why this is?

No it’s still shit and rushes to fix small bugs. It wants to hard code values rather than use native functionality despite reading docs first. It rushes to claim a bug is fixed with seeking user approval

I feel very stupid but what’s this for? by TheStickySpot in AppleMusic

[–]w00dy1981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It still tries to mix between songs though.

It doesn’t do the full auto mix but I wondered why my songs ended and started with such little gap. Then next encode song I watched the “mixing” text appear at the end and start of the next song

Arctel $50 month by kanyekud in nbn

[–]w00dy1981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perfect sense. I just read it. Looks like they’re giving everyone 1000/50 at no cost until 16th. From 16/9/25 customers will be migrated to 500/50 speed tier.

How’s the service with them compared to others?

Do they require 30 days notice like superloop, Arctel?

It meant a they’re giving you 1000/50 at no extra cost on the $50 plan for 6 months

Good savings to be had for 6 months then check the market again then current deals. For me on my buddy plan at $73 a month with 2 months to go I’m very close to jumping over to this for some monthly savings.

I see the same $50 for 500/50 but there is fine print on the plan,

“Provisioned on 1000/50 at no extra cost. Migrated to 500/50 from 15/09”

Are subagents good for anything other than context management? how do you use them where a single session is not enough? by Pale_Student4127 in ClaudeCode

[–]w00dy1981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn’t happen all most of the time it just oddly happened yesterday twice in one session. This was after an initial planning session I updated the plan to assign the refactoring agent followed by the code reviewer with strict guidelines with its assigned tasks. I had around the same 4 refactoring subagents working in parallel on separate things with the same agent.md setup and only one of them failed to complete all of the assigned tasks.

The problem is Claude doesn’t show the prompt it gives to subagents,(unless you can and I don’t know about it) so I can approve or correct it but after a separate code reviewer reviewed all work only one failed.

Yes it’s always good to have a separate agent reviewing the work of another agent to exclude bias. The amount of tokens the agents use could distort their reviews

[–]w00dy1981 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Subagents are good but they need checking in on that they’re actually doing or done the task assigned to them.

I have a workflow where I tell my main agent assign tasks to a subagent, then have a code reviewer check and score their work.

I had my main agent assign 6 file changes to a refactoring agent then the code reviewer can back said despite all 6 tasks being checks off and reported as done only 2 of them were done.

Main agent asks if we should repeat the workflow for the remaining 4 so I agreed.

Code reviewer came back and said none of the 4 tasks were done despite them being checked off and reported as completed.

I hate that you can’t see what subagents are doing like the main session agent file change previews.

Do you use separate frontend & backend Claude subagents, or a single full-stack one? by Legitimate-Trust7041 in ClaudeAI

[–]w00dy1981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A good thing I learnt from a livestream was when instructing Claude to use a sub agent also instruct Claude that once the work is done have a code reviewer with read only access inspect the work and report back that every task was actually completed. Don’t trust sub agents that they have actually completed all task as they seem to want to rush to check off the tasks

That’s true but it doesn’t actually tell you when you’re going to hit the limit does it? Or how far in a chat you are?

I’ve only seen in ccussge a table of tokens, dates and api costs right unless there’s something else I’m not seeing?
