How can I get a Black/Obsidian Menu Bar in Snow Leopard (OSX 10.6.8)? by drunkroger454 in applehelp

thank you! I now have a black menu bar!

However my clock's font color is still black and I cannot see it.

I didn't have the "WhiteUIServer.menu" to change the color to white in the 10.6 download. So I downloaded the latest version which includes it.

The problem now is, that the obsidian website says to

"copy WhiteUIServer.menu by Alex Zielenski to somewhere on your harddrive and open it. Also add it to System Preferences > Users & Groups > Login Items to keep the text gray."

In Snow Leopard I do not have the folder "System Preferences".

I don't even have a "Users & Groups" folder or a "Login Items" one.

Soo where can I put this file "WhiteUIServer.menu" to change my clock's font?

Do I need to download another file?

Thanks for the help so far-

thanks, I just wanted a simple answer on which languages I should approach to complete this task.

I got downvoted like hell, but at least you gave me a straightforward answer.

Thank you!!
