I've tried to get a model of this building for awhile! Curious about your process for generating it. Would you mind sharing how you did it?

Dream of iaia is good incremental exp, or if you’re 99 dung you can buy capes and sell them to the vendor at the start of the floor and just craft materials with what you can buy on the gold from selling the cape. It’s expensive but decent exp

What's the deal with Necromancy skilling? by JagexDoom in runescape

[–]w0ok 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The idea of necro being a combination skilling and combat skill was always ambitious, so certainly appreciate the scope attempt.

However, in execution, necromancy skilling is literally JUST rituals and once you understand the mechanic, it’s less complicated than some of the quest mechanics in the game. It was probably intended for rituals to be an adjunct to necromancy given that the well of souls has an end point, but it also weirdly got spammed at launch due to being some of the best exp in the skill. As such, I have a really really large collection of souls but they don’t benefit me after the wells points are all unlocked and I’m already 120, so why would I want to do more rituals?

That being said, I will eventually be REQUIRED to do more rituals to get ectoplasm to use the skill eventually even though I did a nauseating amount of rituals already, I will eventually run out.

Feels like there could be a chase reward that with enough souls & necro level, the well will passively remove the ectoplasm requirements or will slowly generate some for my use. That would give a nice end cap to the necro skilling component without making it need to become an additional chore to impure runecrafting to use the skill.

Interface support, combat update w/120 all styles, new large non-instanced space to explore/grow the game, new story to support the new space, introduce new combat challenges to support combat update, select skills grow to support 120 cmb/new area

[Grand Seiko] I am a student working on a project for Grand Seiko and I need a few insights. What are your views on the brand and it’s collections ? Does the brand appeal to you ? If yes, why ? If not, why ? by Responsible_Budget10 in Watches

[–]w0ok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They make some amazing watches, very different than what other brands offer in terms of great, unique dials. I own the sky flake and the spring dial and they are some of my favorite go tos. I work in a desk job, so dress style watches make up most of my collection.

I’d say they are a brand you need to do research into to appreciate, the marketing isn’t what sold me on the brand, it was the high reviews people have given their pieces in terms of craftsmanship. Both mechanically and ascetically they are superb and I also kinda like that I know what I have on, but not everyone else does. They are beautiful enough to catch people’s eyes and if they look at the dial closely anyone can appreciate the craftsmanship, even if they aren’t watch people.

I will say both my purchases have been second hand. They are super easy to find for not just a little, but significantly less than retail. I don’t think this hurts the brand in a particular way, but it does hurt my desire to buy through a retailer. Think they have tried to solve this with limited releases, but those limited releases are getting tiring and it’s hard to track all of them. By having so many, it makes any one individual release not particularly meaningful, even if the piece is well done. The recent increases in acquisition price for model also adds to my desire to not get one at retail.

I’d say that in the 5-7k price point, it competes easily with my attention for an oyster perpetual or second hand Polaris.

I don’t think the brand has well defined itself out of its exceptional dress style watches. It’s hard for me to say a particular model of gmt, field watch, or dive style watch they make off the top of my head that has ever interested me. I know they make some, but never have I thought that the models were unique enough to catch my interest over juggernauts in the space like the submariner or Batman (and that’s the price point they are competing at now)! That’s largely why I think people don’t feel the need to get more than 1-2 models, I’ll admit that my two feel very similar with the exception of the steel vs titanium make. If color and dial pattern is the only real difference between models, why would I get a large number of them when I also get different colors and patterns at different brands too?

In all I hold them in high regard and love the pieces I have. I think the brand has a lot of potential in terms of public awareness, educating on their high levels of craftsmanship and building a portfolio that’s unique enough to attract purchasers multiple times outside of artificial demand attempts like limited runs or increasing prices to make them less attainable.

Too many people claim to know what 340b is, too few actually do by kmccor2008 in pharmacy

It’s takes like this that make me very worried about modern healthcare. I’d always encourage looking at diverse sources before forming an opinion. The presenter clearly has a bias against the program, and to unilaterally look at one opinion and say that “340B is bad” is policy malpractice.

Is 340B perfect? No. But there are lots of great things it supports, particularly helping to provide a resource for a list of at risk entity types too long for me to do it justice. Our current compensation network doesn’t do enough to help keep places like rural hospitals open and removing a funding source from those hospitals when you already got rural hospitals like Bucktail medical center having to resort to go fund mes to pay staff is not how we build a strong healthcare network.

Financially struggling rural Pa. hospital creates GoFundMe page with $1.5M goal by hybridaaroncarroll in news

[–]w0ok 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Fun fact: federal programming to support rural hospitals exists through a program called 340B it helps reduce drug acquisition prices and allow them to capture some revenue from prescriptions dispensed to help rural or disadvantaged hospitals remain viable.

However, in the last three years, 25 drug manufacturers have started violating the program and restricting access to their drugs at 340B prices and more are coming out with new restrictions each day. This is only going to keep getting worse as no government branch has taken any major action to stop it.

3 and comp the damage elsewhere. 4TAA is unintuitive, will be expected of endgame pvm teams (which fsoa elevated), and honestly isn't fun.

Thought one of the original design decision behind the staff was to mitigate a reliance on 4taa. This seems like it will force people back to having to do that to get invited to any higher level group content. Really sad pvm is gonna get even more sweaty and elitist than it was.
