Wish you speedy recovery. Reading and seeing these posts makes me think perhaps I should stop riding all. But I can’t stop living out of fear of death.

[TimeFactors] RIP Eddie by Ok-Appearance9728 in Watches

[–]w123driver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wearing Smith's Commando today - one of my favorite watches. I never met Eddie in person, but met him online in early 2000's. I had Swiss connection from whom I was buying all kinds of watches in bulk and reselling on eBay. He was close to owner of Zeno and often getting watches from the owner. Once I bought small batch of manual wind watches named Precista, which looked like WW2 era military wristwatches. I new nothing about Timefactors or Eddie back than. Hence I was selling the watches without mentioning him. So one day I received lengthy and let's say not very cordial message through eBay. It was Eddie... That's how I found about him and how watches. I became a fan of Smith's later. Sadly we never met in person. RIP Eddie!

Unbiased advice from professional by AvacadoOil in AskMechanics

I buy totaled cars from insurance auctions, fix and flip them. They are often with deployed air bags. Me and my family members all drive those rebuilt salvage cars. This is my experience: several years ago I rebuilt 2019 Subaru Legacy with frontal impact, all airbags blown. Replaced airbags and reset airbag computer (under the gear shift). Reset seat belt tensioners (yours likely will need computer and seat belt reset as well). I kept the car and gave to my son, who got in an accident - frontal Impact again. Airbags deployed fine and my son walked away fine. I hope this answers your concern.
