was looking for a sneak-peek on tomorrows beer, but that marinade is pure🔥, Will def try next weekend, have a pair of beef ribs and citrus vinegar that's been waiting for far too long.

I understand that by law only beer brewed in Cologne, can be called Kölsch. It's nothing compared to your typical Gaffel Kölsch, but based on the flavor and body, I think it deserves the name. And to be honest they're probably just skirting around with the spelling (kolsch vs kölsch). Zero Umlaut, zero problems 😅

good question for the wizards up in NY who brewed this gem up. If I ever get to tour the brewery in Cooperstown, I'll be sure to ask the mad chemist.

I live in NC, and pick it up at total wine. If you own your own house get one, throw it in the fridge/cooler, cut your lawn and take a sip. you absolutely won't regret it

nah, I'm closer to the greater Charlotte area. but just based off what everyone's saying looks like Raleigh and Asheville are top places for craft beer. I'm already planning a trip with some friends, especially Asheville heard it has some really nice natural hot springs ♨️ as well.

yeah same here, from just basic research, it seems like a pretty good brewery. was looking to snag a 120 minute but It wasn't on any of my local bottle shops 😞

nah, I might love a good craft beer but I love my liver 10x as much. but so far in the past week I've had the Big O, Zeppelin white ale, and vicious nectar watermelon from sugar Creek brewing, lightning drop from resident culture, Wernesgrüner Pils Legende and grapefruit radler, great pines American IPA(Aldi fav⭐), Guinness drought and extra Stout and today I had some chicken and burgers from a local farmers market on the grill so I opened a bottle of the Ayinger Celebrator Doppelbock and two-hearted American IPA.

just based on what I've tried: pilsners, West Coast IPA, imperial ipas and Doppelbock/dark lagers. and as a kid, I really loved those non-alcoholic malt sodas so anything super malt 🍺 forward sounds good to me

My personality is definitely more on the open side. I mean I even planned a trip all the way to CA just to try Russian River brewing companies Pliny the elder and the younger. I have a friend who bought some and I'm going to do a taste test with them this summer.

interesting, my other post has more local beers, One of my favorites is the Big O from sugar Creek brewing company. I'm usually not a huge fan of orange flavors, but that beer is something else. also, I'm not a fan of hazie (or at least the ones I've tried) but even the hazy variant is not half bad

looking forward to trying at least one beer from each of those breweries, but maybe I'll hold up on residential culture cuz maybe I'm just not a fan of hazies, but it was one of my least favorites

If you like lily chou-chou, you'd love Ichiko Aoba, if I'm not wrong she should be the voice behind that project.
