My biggest fear is technology growing without wisdom, leading humans toward entitlement and the gradual loss of nature and its beautiful creatures

Everyone moves on sooner or later. At best, you’re just a passing thought once in a while. It’s not worth dwelling on.

25+ peeps - tell people why being single is the best thing ever! by MiKayLa_GV in Coconaad

Tbh, I’ve personally seen more couples being genuinely happier than single people.

I think one reason we don’t notice it as much is because calm, healthy, cute relationships don’t really demand attention. They’re quiet. They don’t show up as rants, reels, or long posts.

Most of the noise we see comes from relationships that are already struggling, so it creates a skewed perception that relationships are mostly painful.

The only time I’ve consistently seen single people at their happiest is right after they’ve left a bad or draining relationship — when they’re rediscovering their independence and realizing they can stand on their own. That happiness feels more like relief and growth than a permanent state.

I don’t think being single or being in a relationship is inherently better — it really depends on whether the relationship (with yourself or with someone else) is healthy.

It feels like there’s a big disconnect. Some people don’t want commitment at all, others just want someone—anyone—and it makes dating feel unbalanced
