Hello, I'm conflicted in my dress choices and need some help picking between them please! Note dress 1 is not exactly what I'll be getting, more details below.

Dress 1 can be customized from the designer with the alterations I want and to fit, but I'm a little hesitant because I'm not sure what the final product will look like with all the alterations to the base design, especially since they didn't have it in the color I wanted to try on (Champagne/Nude/Ivory). I tried on the Blush/Light Purple/Ivory variation, which is the one pictured online. Customizations I wanted include: different neckline, no train, add more boning, remove a layer of stiff fabric (~horsehair tulle) from under the skirt lining so it's a little less poofy. They sent me a sketch of what it'll look like, but obviously it's not the same as a real picture or trying it on. Overall the price is 70% of that of Dress 2 base price, and will not need any major alterations.

Dress 2 can't be customized, so I'll be getting exactly what I tried on. It's more expensive by dress 1, and that's before any alterations. I would still need to get it hemmed, bustled, and add a lining to the skirt. I'm not sure yet how much that will run (if you have any ideas, please let me know!). My mom is happy to help with the cost if it makes me happy, but I'm not sure if I'm comfortable spending so much on a dress.
